We share personal data only where needed and only with:

- Delivery carriers, such as Posti, so that your order can be delivered to you.
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as email services, analytics, IT and customer support tools, and accounting services.

6. Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal data about your use of our website and your orders in order to provide the store to us. In some cases Shopify also acts as an independent controller, for example for its own security, fraud prevention, and service improvement purposes. To learn how Shopify uses your data and how to exercise your rights with Shopify, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to make our website work, remember your cart, keep the store secure, understand how the site is used, and, with your consent where required, to support marketing and advertising.
- Essential cookies are needed for the store to function (for example, your shopping cart and checkout) and do not require consent.
- Analytics and marketing cookies are used only if you accept them, where the law requires consent.
You can change your cookie choices at any time through the cookie settings on our website, or by adjusting your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sharing of your data for targeted advertising. You can also opt out of data sharing for advertising here.
8. International Transfers
Some of our service providers, including Shopify, may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where your data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, as applicable.
9. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Order and transaction records are kept for the period required by Finnish accounting and tax law.
- Customer account data is kept while your account is active, and deleted or anonymised after you ask us to close it, unless we must keep certain data by law.
- Customer support messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your query and handle any follow-up or legal claims.
- Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
- Cookie and usage data is kept for the period stated in the relevant cookie settings.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Our store uses secure HTTPS connections, and payments are handled by secure payment providers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information, such as full card numbers, to us by email.

- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format and have it transferred to another provider, in certain circumstances.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on your consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@softliva.com or +358 465383157. We may need to verify your identity before we act on your request. We will respond within the time required by law, normally within one month.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that has legal or similarly significant effects.
